Secondly cut a piece of 3M tape to the desired length, making sure it is slightly longer than the area you want to cover.

Thirdly peel off the backing from one end of the tape, exposing the adhesive side. Carefully align the exposed adhesive side of the tape with the desired area on the product. Press down firmly on the tape, starting from the end where the adhesive is exposed and working your way towards the other end.

Last but not least, make sure the tape is securely attached to the product by giving it a gentle tug or applying light pressure. And trim any excess tape that extends beyond the edges of the product, if desired.
